Sleep under the Milky Way

Wake up in the Sahara.

A private 3 or 5-day journey from Marrakech to the great dunes of Merzouga. Camel trekking, quad biking, a fine camp deep in the sand — and a sky so full of stars you'll forget your phone exists.

morocco

Ride across dunes and enjoy authentic desert life.

Some moments don't fit in a photo.

Carve down a 150-metre dune at golden hour, then trade the board for a campfire. This is the part of Morocco people fly home and can’t stop describing.

Why Choose Our Desert Tours

Real words from people who spent their nights under the Sahara sky.

Everything handled. You just show up and feel it.

From the moment we collect you in Marrakech to your final sunrise in the dunes, every detail is taken care of — one price, no surprises.

Private transport, door to dune

Your own air-conditioned 4x4 or minivan with a driver who knows every pass through the High Atlas. No shared buses, no waiting on strangers.

A fine camp, deep in the sand

A proper bed, warm blankets and real comfort — set far enough into Erg Chebbi that the only lights you'll see are the stars. Private en-suite tents available.

Camel trekking at golden hour

Ride into the dunes the old way as the light turns gold and the shadows grow long. Calm, well-cared-for camels and a guide who walks beside you the whole way.

Quad biking & sandboarding

Open the throttle across the open sand, then strap on a board and carve down the big dunes. As gentle or as wild as you want it — full briefing and gear included.

Campfire & the Milky Way

Each night, the fire is lit, the drums come out, and the sky fills with more stars than you knew existed. Zero light pollution — the Milky Way in full.

Meals & real local culture

Home-cooked tagines, fresh bread, mint tea and breakfasts that taste like the place. You eat with locals, not in a tourist canteen immersion you can taste.

asked questions

Yes. You travel with experienced local drivers and guides who do this route constantly, and our camp has real beds, warm blankets and hot showers — not a thin mat on the ground. Thousands of European travellers do this trip every year. You're in good hands the whole way.

It's a full day across the High Atlas — but it's part of the magic, not a chore. We break it up with stops at the best viewpoints, a kasbah or two, and lunch along the way, so the journey itself becomes a highlight. On the 5-day route it's spread out even more gently.

Spring (March–May) and autumn (September–November) are ideal — warm days, clear nights. Summer days are hot but the camp stays comfortable; winter days are mild with crisp, cold nights. We provide plenty of blankets, and a cold desert night under a blazing sky is unforgettable. Just bring a warm layer.

All of the above. We run small, private groups, so honeymooners, families with kids, and solo travellers all get a trip shaped around them. Tell us who's coming and we'll tailor the pace and the tents accordingly.

Easily. Moroccan cooking is naturally vegetable-rich, and all meals are home-cooked, so vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, halal and allergy needs are no problem. Just let us know when you book.

Light clothes for the day, a warm layer for the night, comfortable shoes, sunglasses, a scarf, and your camera. We'll send you a full, simple packing list once you book — no guesswork.
